Okay, I'm confused. Every description I've seen online of Superman: The Journey, including dccomics.com, says of this book, "The events that have turned the DCU upside down are reflected in this collection..." Okay, that means Infinite Crisis realted stories, right? "After his first contact with an OMAC, Superman must contend with the arrivals of Bizarro and Zoom, before dealing once and for all with a souped-up Blackrock!" Yes, yes, yes, and yes. These are all IC-related events. Obviously.
But wait. "...stories from SUPERMAN #117, 121-125 with pages from ACTION COMICS #83." Uhhhhhhh derrrr what? Superman books are well into the two hundreds at this point, and Action Comics is in the EIGHT hundreds. Are these actually very old stories that just happen to share characters involved in recent events? And DC is just making us THINK that this is Infinite Crisis related in order to get us to buy it? Or is every single website getting their information from dccomics.com, who is just WRONG about the issue numbers collected here? I am SO confused. Does anyone have a copy of this who can enlighten me as to what is actually in it?
